Blazen Craft Vintage Summer follows the path of a Swallow-tailed Kite- her splendor in flight- weaving into the southern states to The Gulf Islands until she migrates still more south.  This journey will take us into Sustainable Impact Investing and how we can do our part to steward nature.

Follow the Swallow-tailed Kite; How we can do our part to Steward Nature

Investing in our future has been deep in my heart. I claim an inheritance to the land I steward.  As I tour the southern states that lead to The Gulf Islands to complete a novel and collect some design inspiration for Vintage Summer Marketing Campaign, I follow the stream-line social group of the Swallow-tailed Kite.

The premise of this blog is to develop an interest in Sustainable Impact Opportunities with available helps on how to research an Area of Interest, create a travel manifest (sustainable investment strategy) and a DIY Socially Responsible Approach to a Sustainable Impact Campaign.

Imagine the Fore-Runner for Sustainable Impact

I am fairly new to the scene of following the habits and migration of birds. As I develop the Travel Manifest for 2023 (as part of my sustainable investment strategy) to journal my findings of the Swallow-tailed Kite in the southern states of America, I engaged in networking with the Avian Research and Conservation Institute (ARCI)  to start developing my goals by exploring the work of the forerunners in the field. The Swallow-tailed Kite Migration is well under way for 2022.

Develop an Interest in Sustainable Impact Opportunities

Developing an interest for sustainable impact and quantify what area of Environmental, Social, or Governance I wanted to steward in was a no brainer for me.  I have had a love of nature since a small child and for 30 years in my hometown of Colorado I volunteered with many various groups such as Fostering Shelter Animals, Burn Area Rehabilitation Programs, Urban Garden Initiative's and Community Outreach Programs.

Environmental Factors such as carbon emissions, air and water pollution, energy efficiency, water consumption, deforestation or forest preservation, and biodiversity are Area of Interest that I have valued.  

Since the Pandemic of 2019, I found myself without the advantage of community groups, familiar surrounding and I was isolated.  

My move to Kentucky placed me in the southern states of America.  I paid attention to the environmental, social, and governance conditions.  I embarked on researching three areas; 

• American Gas Resources
• Nature Conservation Programs specializing in the water shelf.
• The Swallow-tailed Kite

  

Research your Area of Interest

The important aspect at this juncture of your journey to sustainable impact is to complete three main areas of research:

1.  The Marketable Investment in your Area of Interest.
2.  Your Financial Investment in your Area of Interest.
3.  Research your Area of Interest

I read an article titled "Seabirds and the struggle against Marine Debris in the Gulf of Maine" which states that "Some of the States most unique environments are tiny sea islands that are often little piles of rocks with shrubs growing in the middle largely uninhabited, save for colonies of nesting seabirds." 

Placing myself into the environment that presents sustainable impact opportunities and important research to develop my social media posts, informative writing, and financial investment inquiries was the next focus.  I began to research the National Wildlife Rescue's and National Parks in the area.  Then I created a 10-day travel manifest to Tybee, Wassaw National Wildlife Rescue, and Ossabaw National Wildlife Rescue.

Wassaw National Wildlife Rescue serves as an important link in the Chain of barrier islands that lie along the Atlantic Flyway, providing excellent habitat for a variety of migratory birds.

Travel Manifest to follow the Migration and Habitats of Sea-Birds

The ARCI have programs and tracking studies that helped me to understand my Area of Interest.  By reviewing the five-program area's and following along with their tracking studies I was able to create a travel manifest as part of my sustainable investment strategy goals:

1. Study of large groups and questioning the need for conservation.
2. Study of breeding habitats and population.
3. Migration, threats and conservation opportunities.
4. Strategy for restoring and conserving nesting habitat.
5. Places where the groups rest before migrating and monitoring their numbers.

The tracking studies cover "year-round habitat needs and range areas, estimate annual survival, investigate migration and wintering threats."

DIY- Socially Responsible approach to Sustainable Impact Campaign

We will want to take action to show our Area of Interest will sustain an impact in our society by utilizing the research, networking, and bank investor resource support to produce a financial asset not only for ourselves but for the whole.

Journal and archive the Area of Interest, research according to official procedures with social media posts, information gathering, research, and interviewing, concise allegorical based prose, news, and featured writing.

Contact a bank investor with the sustainable investment strategy and be accountable for any financial obligations.

Network with a blog, digital journal, commercial design, and website until a desired goal to start the investment is achieved.
